BNC Connect Support

Need help?

If BNC Connect is not appearing in Minecraft, will not connect, disconnects unexpectedly, or something in the app is not working, start with the steps below.

Quick connection check

  1. Make sure your phone and Minecraft device are on the same local network.
  2. Open BNC Connect and press CONNECT.
  3. Open Minecraft Bedrock on your console or device.
  4. Wait for BNC Connect to appear in the LAN server list.
  5. Join the LAN world and allow Minecraft to finish connecting.

LAN discovery can sometimes take a few seconds before the world appears.

If BNC Connect does not appear

  • Confirm both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi/router.
  • Press DISCONNECT, then CONNECT again.
  • Close and reopen Minecraft.
  • Make sure BNC Connect is allowed to run on your local network.
  • Temporarily disable VPNs or unusual network-routing apps while testing.
  • Restart the phone or console if LAN discovery still does not appear.

Connection stops in the background

BNC Connect uses an Android foreground service while CONNECT is active. Android should display an ongoing notification while the connection is running.

If your phone aggressively restricts background apps, make sure BNC Connect is not being immediately suspended or force-stopped by battery-saving settings.

Custom / saved servers

If you are testing My Servers, double-check the server address and Bedrock UDP port. The standard Bedrock port is often 19132, but servers may use a different port.

BNC Connect can only connect successfully if the destination Bedrock server itself is online and reachable.

Still having trouble?

Email BNC Connect support with as much information as possible. Screenshots or short videos are especially helpful for connection issues.

Beta testing

BNC Connect is currently in beta testing. Bugs, device-specific issues, and connection inconsistencies may still occur while the app is being tested across different phones, consoles, Minecraft versions, and home networks.

If you are part of the beta, please stay opted into the Google Play test for the duration of the testing period and report anything that behaves unexpectedly.
